The Overnight Maintenance Custodial Position 9:00pm - 5:30am reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and is responsible for the clean-up of the Lower Club and straightening the beach from the previous day’s usage of the Club. Breaking down of cabana parties. This is a seasonal Summer only position, with full-time hours and an incentive bonus if you work through Labor Day. Specific Duties: Breakdown all Parties Pick up dishes, glasses, and utensils along the patio, dining room, terrace, bar, and along the sidewalk in front of cabanas, return to kitchen for cleaning. Empty all trashcans in the Lower Club and install fresh liners. Double bag all trash so as to not spill leaks on sidewalks. Sweep, mop, or hose down the patio, bar terrace, family dining area, and sidewalks outside of Ladies locker room. (Hose not to be used inside Clubhouse) Vacuum all carpeted areas nightly. Return all tables, chairs (white folding and beach chairs) linen, glassware, dishware, utensils to their appropriate place. Wash down the PT courts on Tuesday & Thursday. Return all tables used for parties to basement. Return all used BBQ's to south lot. Move all tables & chairs in Card Room to the side for yoga on Sunday night & Tuesday night. Make sure only glass goes into the glass container & no glass in compactor. This job requires bending, stooping, squatting, heaving lifting, and long periods of standing. Anything else the Clubhouse Manager deems necessary to accomplish the overall goals of the club. Hours: May be 40 hours a week, based on club demand. Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms is required High level of professional appearance and demeanor Excellent Customer Service skills required Ability to follow directions well, use sound judgment and stay organized High School diploma or equivalent preferred Job Type: Full-time, Summer Seasonal
