National Glass & Mirror – Kearny Mesa, CA Apprentice Glazier Position Available - Seeking a reliable person who is looking to learn the glazing trade. We will teach the successful applicant a valuable trade skill which includes how to safely carry & handle glass, how to measure, cut & grind glass, remove existing & install replacement glass and more. These skills require an organized, responsible, and reliable individual who can follow verbal and written instructions & directions. This position requires some mechanical and building experience and the individual must be able to use and know the practical safety procedures of hand tools, safety equipment and being on jobsites. The applicant must also be able to learn and retain information, have the ability to communicate clearly, work closely with others, be able to lift 75 – 100 lbs., have no physical limitations, and have a clean driving record. Pay rates are based on your skill level. If you have some glazing experience and are looking to learn more, we would like to talk to you. Duties/Responsibilities: • Assist and Follow Directions from the lead glazier. • Complete Job-Reports and Forms. • Follow written and verbal communication. • Be a team player. • Other duties as assigned.
