OUPV Licensed Fishing Captain Needed to run a Charter Boat in New Jersey The boat is a 25 Ft Parker with a Volvo Diesel, equipped with all brands new electronics, trolling Motor and a large cockpit to fish 4-6 people. Rather than sell it, I am looking to put it to work. That means this is an opportunity for someone to do what they love and earn their living as a Fishing Captain. NJ / NY FISHING EXPERIENCE a plus but would teach the right person. What this opportunity means? For the right candidate I would offer a Partnership deal, NOT TODAY but when the time comes so let’s meet and see if we’re a fit. - Must have a current license in good standing. -CPR certificate - Must be kind and courteous - No bad habits (serious drugs or alcohol abuse) - Must have a car Boat is located in Jersey City right in front of the Freedom Tower BEST VIEWS around, so night cruises are also an option. We are in the heart of the BEST Fishing known as the NY/NJ bite. Just a short run to most of our fishing grounds. We mainly target Striped Bass and Fluke just minutes from the dock. When in season we can make a comfortable run for SeaBass, Blackfish, Porgies and YES Bluefin Tuna. As you know the fishing last year was EXCELLENT and we opened up some new targeted species. Giant Bluefin Tuna, most of those fisherman targeting this species would venture up to Massachusetts. We caught Giants and Schoolies from August - December.
