Hi, my name is Rachel. I am 28 years old, and I do have an suv for transportation if needed for taking to/from school, extracurricular activities etc! I’m also willing to travel, about 30 miles from me and 30 miles home may be the best I can do, although we can discuss! Experience being a nanny: Nanny: Dec 2015-Jan 2017 Duties: taking children to & from school. I’d make their lunches, and make an after school snack, and most days I would cook dinner for the entire family once they got home. I would clean during the day, do laundry, as well as take care of their toddler; taking him to the park, playing educational games with him and more. I would take the children to any extracurricular activities as well. I would also do grocery shopping for the family if they needed me to. Reason for leaving: gave birth, became a first time mother Home health nurse: Oct 2017-Dec 2019 Duties: cooking 3 meals a day plus appropriate snacks depending on their diet. Cleaning the entire house every time I worked. Gave her the correct medication, and took her back and forth to her doctor appointments, and even picked up her prescriptions. Reason for leaving: my patient had sadly passed away Nanny: Jan 2020-Jan 2022 Duties: one 5 year old, one 1 year old. I made the children breakfast and packed her lunches before school, packed snacks for the activities I, or the parents, had planned for the toddler that day. Take him to the park, etc. I would pick up their daughter from school, take her to any extracurricular activities she had such as gymnastics and dance. Our daughters got along very well and became best friends, so sometimes I would bring her for a play date. I would make them dinner, bathe them, brush their teeth and read them bedtime stories until they fell asleep. I stayed until about 3am every time I worked. Had/Have a car for any transportation needs. They had a maid to clean, but of course I would still clean up if and whenever we made a mess, whether we did crafts, educational experiments appropriate for their age group, etc. Reason for leaving: the parents had moved away due to the Covid vaccine rules, and in their line of work they “had to get the vaccine” in this state. Qualifications: -Certified medical assistant -CPR certified Founder of “Volunteers for a cause, not applause” Volunteer: - meals on wheels - ASPCA - Horse farm (Of course if you would like any references, please let me know! I know this isn’t the best place to post this kind of ad, but I’m pretty desperate for a job right now, and out of all my work, I love taking care of children, and the elderly the most) Also!
