Hey there- I’m a male musician in the west valley and would like to meet up and jam maybe get a group together if we all click. Preferably 30 and older but don’t care if you don’t. I’m easy going, dependable and take music seriously but don’t take myself too seriously. I play guitar, bass, and keys. I like all kinds of music, mainly alt/indie- Radiohead, Smiths, Cure, Interpol, Joy Division, strokes, my bloody Valentine, Sigur Rod, Slowdive, beach house, tame impala, beach fossils, khruangbin, Beatles, blue, gorillaz, flaming lips…etc.40 yearExperienced guitarist and bassist been together a long time, another guitarist ready to join in but we need an energetic drummer. Not looking to make a career of this certainly; playing is good and playing out is better when you have something to show. We do want someone who is coming to play weekly at rehearsal because of the hobby, the music and the vibe with fellow musicians. If you have too many other things going on in life or you cannot commit to rehearse once a week, we'd appreciate it if you do not respond. This is what we like to do; we can dedicate a few hours to that and we ask the same.Hi I’m Bro Betts a Bassist and Teacher. I’ve asked myself each of the questions above and answered with a resounding yes, that Bass is for me. It’s a good instrument to play. It’s suited to almost every kind of music and it’s easy to get started.I offer online lessons and I’m available at convenient times. My lessons are built for each student individually because we’re all just that different. I believe that “being you” is what qualifies you to be a musician. Bass Guitar offers a lot of versatility for each of our various expressions. For the beginner I teach how to find your tone and other essential techniques, find your way around the notes, scales and chords, and how to find your place in an ensemble or band setting. The music is best served by a knowledgeable bassist and I teach and believe that whole heartedly. For the intermediate bassist I teach notation, TAB, the Nashville number system and ear training. All in the context of your musical goals. For both the beginner and more advanced student, learning songs is always a useful tool that teaches you and builds your repertoire.than 1-2 a month. I’ve been playing since I was a kid and can do anything outside of wicked fast double bass. I have my own gear, a steady M-F day job, and no drug/alcohol problems. I have a practice space and gear, would likely meet in a park first though. Would love to form a band but at this point just looking to make some connections. Hope to speak to you soon! If you want to hear samples- search “mothsounds” on itunes, Amazon, bandcamp, google etc. Wrote and arranged all but one of the songs on album and played bass/guitar/synths on all along with drummerI'm a drummer that specializes in low volume and acoustic gigs. Of course I can play loud if it's required, but not many people can play low volume and enjoy it. I'm sure you've been in a situation where you wanted to kill the drummer cause he/she won't stop pounding on the drums full blast and doesn't learn the songs. Well then, I'm your guy. Gimme a call or text or email. Also, I'm not a mercenary. I'd like to be in a band and develop the music with a good group of people. I learn the songs, I don't do drugs and I'm always on time.Hello, my band is currently searching for a metal drummer. We play more metal core style with hints of other styles as well. So double bass is required and if you can blast would be a bonus but not required. I have a few samples I can email if anyone is interested. Goal is to meet for a couple of jam sessions then maybe get a jam room.SEMI-PRO LEVEL BASSIST AVAILABLE, I want to play at least 3 times/month, more is OK.
