Our Body Technicians repair damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. Duties and requirements are as follows:
Auto Body Technician - Essential Duties
Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
Other tasks as assigned.
Auto Body Technician - Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. To include knowledge, skill and/or ability.
Auto Body Technician - Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (GED); plus 1+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Auto Body Technician - Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping, lifting of 75lbs repeatedly throughout the day in a shop environment.
