Assist in the installation and maintenance of waterfeatures and landscape plantings with an award winning waterfeature company serving the northern NJ area.. NO GRASS CUTTING! You will be taught the proper way to design, install and maintain waterfeatures (ponds/waterfalls/custom fountains). Opportunity for advancement within the company and pay rate increases and bonuses. EXCELLENT opportunity for the right candidate. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Mature – Reliable – Organized – Honest – Detail Oriented and Safety conscious. Ideal candidate will be polite, creative, self motivated, able to follow directions, attention to details, able to direct others throughout the course of the day and be a team player. Must be 18 years or older. Social Security card or work authorization permit required. Valid & CLEAN NJ drivers license and able to safely Drive NON CDL truck & trailer combination Available to work Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm and weekends as needed. (Start and end times may change as needed) Must have own reliable transportation to and from work. Able to lift up to 55lbs throughout the work day. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and squat throughout the work day. Willing to get hands dirty & work outside under adverse weather conditions when needed. Good communication skills – must be able to read, write and speak English Prior experience in landscape construction and running a crew (minimum 2 years verifiable experience).required. Experience operating skidsteers, mini excavators, walk behind loaders and other equipment. Experience in Landscape Plantings – Knowledge of plant names. Use Transit and set grades. PLUSES Knowledge of waterfeature industry. Building and Maintaining eco-system based waterfeatures. Experience in Bluestone patios and walkways installation. Experience in Natural Rock retaining wall installation. (Boulders and stack stone) Willing to participate in company events as needed. Willing to attend educational seminars and events to further your education and abilities. We offer a good starting pay rate, paid holidays and eligibility for bonuses.
