The Decide and Provide Foundation has partnered with Serenity Meadows Memorial Park to host the first annual Flag Day Cemetery Clean-Up even The Decide and Provide Foundation has partnered with Serenity Meadows Memorial Park to host the first annual Flag Day Cemetery Clean-Up event. This event is scheduled for Saturday, June 11th from 8 AM – 10 AM. It will take place at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, located at 6919 Providence Road, in Riverview. Volunteers are needed for a beautification walk-through followed by the removal and replacement of worn U.S. Flags on each veteran burial space (approximately 500 flags). Volunteers should come prepared to walk, lift, bend, and carry trash and debris. This event qualifies as Community Service for anyone in need of volunteer hours. Closed-toe shoes and gardening gloves are recommended. Collection bags and insect repellant provided. Water and light refreshments will also be provided.
