Uganda Celebration by St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church
Join us on May 21st to celebrate our 20-year+ relationship with St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Mukono Uganda. Enjoy a delicious Ugandan dinner and experience the love and faith of the Ugandan people.
It’s been over 20 years since the Catholic parishes of St. Paul the Apostle in Mukono, Uganda, East Africa, and St. Francis Borgia in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, USA, joined together as “twins.” Blessed by the Diocese of Lugazi (Uganda) and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 2001, our parishes embarked together on a spiritual adventure.
And what an adventure it has been, thanks be to God!
To date, SFB parishioners have generously sponsored projects such as piggeries, wells, emergency food supplies, and even a high school which now has over 800 students. Many of you have hosted visitors from St. Paul’s for dinners, activities, and overnight. You may have stories to share.
Come hear about friendships and adventures across the miles and over the years. Picture visiting our counterparts in their homes, meeting their children, and hearing St. Paul’s choir at Mass.
This all-parish celebration also includes free family activities Sunday, May 22 from 11 am – 2pm on the church grounds after Mass.
Date and time: Sat, May 21, 2022 from 5:30pm – 9pm
Location: St. Francis Borgia School, 1425 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012
