Join us for Youth Choral Excellence --Florida’s Singing Sons and The Girl Choir of South Florida! Unity Concert featuring Florida’s Singing Sons and The Girl Choir of South Florida at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center. The Florida Singing Sons and Girl Choir of South Florida are delighted to join together to present their inaugural Unity Concert. Both organizations will feature their most advanced ensembles, separately and in collaboration, performing a varied program consisting of familiar favorites as well as more modern repertoire. Selections range from a Randall Thompson’s setting of Robert Frost’s poetry to an energetic arrangement of a gospel tune to an Indian raga. Formidable organizations in their own right, this combination of choral forces will be a testament to the remarkable abilities and artistry of young musicians.
