TAKOMA PARK, MD — Authorities say a 2-year-old boy has died after falling from the window of a third-floor apartment in Takoma Park. The fall happened around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday in the 700 block of Ethan Allen Avenue. Pete Piringer, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said the toddler had fallen about 40 feet. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but later died. No other information was immediately available.
