Temporary Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a temporary employee to assistant with a 2-4 month contract on our Maintenance Team! This position is not benefits eligible.
Our will be responsible for assisting the center operations of Lowell CHC.
Responsibilities include:
1. Provide excellent customer service to all staff and patients.
2. Supports mail services, both interoffice and U.S. Postal.
3. Supports medical equipment pick up and drop off at Lowell general hospital as required.
4. Supports mail pick up and drop off at school based locations as required
5. Assists in receiving and distributing shipments as needed.
6. Arranges decorations, equipment, and furniture for meetings.
7. Completes work orders as needed or assigned.
8. Cleans snow and debris from property. Spreads ice melt.
9. Maintains building, performing minor repairs to woodwork, plumbing fixtures, drywall, painting and electrical services.
10. Notifies supervisor of needs for major repairs or unsafe conditions needing attention.
11. Keeps facilities area clean and organized. This includes: bulk storage, loading dock, medical supply storage, workshop, trash room and medical waste room.
12. Will assist custodial staff in cleaning.
13. Performs other job-related duties as required.
14. Will be required for weeknight and weekends on as needed basis.
Experience: 0-3 years of maintenance experience in a healthcare setting is desirable. Painting, cleaning, and minor electrical work preferred.
