Boston Children’s Cerebrovascular and Surgical Interventions Center is holding our first Brain Aneurysm Family Day. Meet other families, get support, and listen to talks from our key clinicians on hot topics in brain aneurysms.
When: Saturday, May 7, 2022; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Boston Children’s Main Campus (Folkman auditorium). We will also be live-streaming this event. Once you've registered, we will email you details on how to join virtually closer to the event date.
Cost: Free
We’ll be discussing topics such as:
patients' experience of brain aneurysm treatmentresearch on imaging technology and cognitive outcomes in brain vascular diseaseresearch on the genetics of brain vascular disease You’ll have the chance to meet and network with other families.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
During the luncheon, we will also be conducting some research of our own, and we invite you and your family to participate! We are interested in learning more about the genes and genetic mutations that may be associated with brain aneurysms. We are looking for interested families to provide a saliva sample for testing. If you have any questions or are unable to attend but are still interested in participating, please reach out to [email protected]. To participate, please look for our station during the luncheon—no sign-ups in advance needed.
