Description

Deepen your connection to the natural rhythms within and surrounding you. In our fast paced world often caught up in doing, busyness and high achievement, connecting to nature is one of the best ways to bring ourselves back into balance. Research has shown the profound benefits that nature has on our physiology and psychology, as well as our spirit. Nature invites us to live happier, healthier, fuller, more authentic, more compassionate lives. Nature opens us to become more self aware of how we connect to ourselves and the world around us. There is no other time that we are more free to simply be ourselves. In this guided nature immersion, we will explore the beauty and wonder of nature by hiking various easy to moderate mountain trails. We'll learn how to deepen our connection to nature by learning how to open all of our senses to become more present. We will learn how to quiet the mental chatter to better listen to the profound wisdom from the Earth as well as the deep inner knowing that is enlivened when connecting to the essence of who we are: nature. Hiking experience is highly encouraged. Expect to be walking/hiking for an hour/ hour and a half with plenty of time to take water breaks and appreciate the beauty and wonder that surrounds us. Also, if you are new to the area, acclimation to the high altitude region is also recommended.
