Urban Tilth has partnered with Richmond artist Francisco "Pops" Rojas who'll show us how to make DIY cards for Mother's Day! Not only will we be making our own paper but we are adding a surprise twist by using multicolored marigold seeds that were harvested, dried and collected from the North Richmond Farm to add to each card. Recycled paper is a sustainable way to reuse scrap pieces of paper instead of buying more from the store. What's so special about these cards is that when you attend this event, you can easily plant them in the soil in the early Summer and grow your own marigolds by mid fall!
