a conversation about the historical impact of Black Transwomen in history*
The event “AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH ANDREA HORNE” will celebrate the beautiful personalities from the black community of trans women from the 1800s to the present who often do not have the recognition they deserve. Andrea Horne is an art enthusiast, researcher, actress, and jazz singer, a trailblazing black transgender woman herself, she invites you to learn how black transgender women change history. This intimate evening--with Breonna McCree from the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health as moderator--offers everything we need to know and value about these great personas, who fight and fight for civil rights as they live their lives as proud transgender women creating dynamic loving communities within the larger black community. Ms. Horne will share their stories and photos--celebrating black transgender women who throughout history have insisted on living their truths and being their beautiful selves.
