We're having a special VIP night out - Ink Link at Diz's Cafe! Join me for dinner, Philly-style! Me? A celebrity? Maybe among our most loyal Ink Link readers! But I'll take it if it means I can mix and mingle for four hours with you - and anyone else who is looking for a good time out! Our monthly VIP gathering is happening April 20, with a twist! I'll be serving as "Guest Restaurateur" as part of Diz's ongoing promotion to raise some funds for worthy causes. This is a public event, but I'm extending a special invitation to our VIPs to come out and enjoy a wonderful menu designed by Diz with my hometown Philly roots in mind (see below). And the best part:10% of all proceeds from anything you purchase from the Special Menu will go to the Ink Link Inkubator, a brand new initiative that is focused on supporting and encouraging student journalism. That's right! We are now able to accept tax-deductible contributions through our fiscal agent, Local Media Fund. This is a new idea, and one we believe is vital to the future of journalism, which is why we've created it. The Inkubator will also allow us to go deeper with our community, through "think tank" gatherings, as well as continue to raise funds for our Manchester Rising reporting fund - all initiatives that elevate our city and strengthen our community.
