Walnut Creek Porch Circle is a simple, meaningful way to drop in with other people who live in this area and want to strengthen in community The challenges of the past few years have divided us but also shown us how interconnected we all are. It’s time to move away from an “us vs. them” mentality and remember our shared humanity, starting right here in our own back yards. If you are looking for a way to feel meaningfully connected to your community, a sense of purpose for the common good and a close circle of community members who share stories, gifts and needs, this gathering is for you! We’ll gather and ground together with a short mediation and facilitated rounds of questions meant to build community, share our needs and live better. Everyone is invited to speak from the heart and listen actively. Who: People who live in the Walnut Creek Area of North Austin Where: Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, 12138 North Lamar Austin, TX 78753 When: Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 10am Optional: Bring your own picnic lunch and blanket, we’ll be sticking around afterwards for a free-form park hang!
