Crown Roofing & Waterproofing, one of the largest roofing contractors in Florida with 500+ employees and 5 offices across the state has an opening for a Regional Safety Inspector Trainee. Crown Roofing serves Central, South and Southwest Florida, specializing in new construction, re-roof, maintenance and all your roof service needs. General Description: Ensures a Safe Work Environment Participates in Training/Certifications Record keeping of Training and Safety equipment orders. Assists in Project Compliance with all Safety Rules and Regulations Requirements Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision. 3-5 yrs of field roofing experience. Roofing Safety compliance experience desired but not required. Bilingual, good communication and organization skills. Able to perform Safety Inspections, Disciplinary actions, and Safety Training of new hires. OSHA 10hr Card or able to obtain certification within 90 days after hire. Able to assist Management in caring for injured workers. Ability to work with other departments such as HR and Production. Able to work on Saturdays if necessary.
