I'm 29 yrs mom This is my first time trying something like this.. . . . . . . Local southern gospel group looking for Piano player. Will play on Sundays and some days during the week. We have a piano in case you don’t have one. Southern Gospel Express is the groups name.I’m looking for a band to jam/play shows with. I’ve been playing rhythm for about 10 years and can play some leads as well. Main influences are Metallica, Megadeth, Trivium, Death, Meshuggah, Veil of Maya etc.. Applicants must have reliable transportation and gear. The band takes heavy influence from Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, and Fit For a King. Now, I will admit there is a struggle going on in my mind as part of me wants to play for fun but the louder part of my brain is screaming that I must find fun energetic and creative people create music & experiences with. For this project to be successful all of us must be positive, upbeat, energetic a team players, and one willing to do the hard work that is necessary to reach goals. One doesn’t have to have a million songs in memory, as I don’t (will explain why I lost my memory). What is important, What I do have is the ability to lean! And I’m always willing to grow. First mission would be to find others that want to jam, and have a strong work ethic that will practice and after some time and the band gets tight, we play some local venues.
