Breaking Point looks at how Ukrainians transformed by a democratic revolution and give up their normal lives to fight a Russian invasion. The War for Democracy in Ukraine looks at people transformed by a democratic revolution, who give up their normal lives to fight a Russian invasion, in a war which has killed 10,000 and displaced 1.9 million Ukrainians. The documentary is directed by Two Times Academy Awards Winner Mark Jonathan Harris and Oles Sanin. Artists for Ukraine is a unified front of individuals from across the world devoted to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine's children displaced by war while preserving the culture and sovereignty of Ukrainian. Join us on April 29th, 30th, & May 1 at the Palm Springs Cultural Center – Formerly known as the Camelot theaters. We will host a showcase of Ukrainian films - Meet and greets + Q&As with Producers, Directors, and Actors following screenings. Paired with this event, exhibitions of Ukrainian photo art, paintings, and NFTs will also take place. All proceeds from our partnerships and auctions will provide aid to Ukrainian children displaced by war. 10% of all proceeds will be allocated to Ukrainian animals and animal shelters in dire need of aid.
