Learn basic bookbinding skills and the 4-hole variation of Asian Stab Binding. No experience necessary. Stab binding is a traditional binding style that originated in Asia. During this 2 hour workshop, participants will get to learn basic bookbinding skills and the 4-hole variation of Asian Stab Binding. It is a simple but strong binding that allows you to bind single or folded sheets. Participants will get to choose and purchase from a variety of papers for the cover. Come to Paper Connection half an hour earlier if you'd like to browse at leisure. Inside text blocks and thread will be provided. Bring home a finished notebook to use or gift to a loved one. No experience needed. Please come to class with your own supplies but a few will be available to lend. Book Size: 6x9 inches 30 pages Fee $60 (Materials not included) SUPPLY LIST • Bone Folder • Cutting Mat • Olfa or Xacto Knife + extra blades • Pencil • Ruler (12” minimum) • Scissors Bookbinding Awl 1. Each class is limited to 6 participants. Masks will be required. 2. If you’re unwell with a cold or flu symptoms, please don’t visit until later. Another workshop can be rescheduled. 3.
