Join Paul BEFORE Earth Day 2022 to clean Will Rogers State Beach. Call it a birthday present for him! Earth Day (April 22) is the Friday right after my birthday, but I don't want to wait until then to do a little good for the environment! So this is for Sunday the 17th instead. Joining in on #CalParksEarthDay clean up efforts, I went to the California State Parks Foundation website and ordered a free clean up kit including gloves, a sticker, and a biodegradable trash bag. You can, too! (though it will arrive too late for this event) On this Sunday morning, right after sunrise, I'm going to be in my mask on the beach using my gloves and a grabber tool to walk around and clean up the junk. When I'm tired or the bag is full, I'll call it a day. I'll be near Lifeguard Tower 7, closest to the intersection of the PCH and Temescal Canyon Road. Feel free to DM or text me if you can't find me! I'll have a couple bottles of water and some sunscreen in my bright yellow waterproof backpack. Please bring your own bag (and gloves if you want them) for trash! I hope some people join me, but I know most people aren't early risers like me or have other plans already. That's fine! I will be doing this project myself even if nobody joins me! But I thought I'd throw this event together in case anybody else liked the idea.
