3 year-old pit needing a new, SAFE, and LOVING home

Our family dog Harley (the black and white pit mix) is a super loving dog. Very energetic and playful (though she can play rough), as well. We had another dog on property (Baja, a yappy beige one) who kept picking fights with Harley (a sort of alpha struggle). Last week the other dog (who is about 25 pounds) attacked Harley (who is +50 pounds), who fought back. Due to the size difference, the injuries inflicted on the former were fatal. Given the traumatic experience, my sister is struggling having Harley on the property because of the painful reminder. In fact, were my sister not so distraught, we would likely keep her ourselves. Nonetheless, we are looking to rehome her but it is important to not hide the circumstances of what led to this decision.  We have all of her documents and papers, she is up-to-date on all shots, etc. we just really want to ensure she goes to a SAFE and LOVING home. So if you know anyone that is looking for a 3 year old pit-terrier mix, please send them my way.
