On Wednesday, April 27, Wakefield's outreach staff will host a meet-and-greet at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library. At this event, residents and business owners can learn how to connect family members, employees, friends, or themselves to vital mental health and support resources. Attendees can hear more about local mental health programs, substance-use treatment and recovery, and family and domestic support. The team will also be providing free Naloxone (nasal Narcan) and training.
The event will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Library's lower-level Community Room. Wakefield's Clinician, Recovery Coach, Family Services Officer, and Health and Human Services Department staff will be available for information and conversation.
