SILVER SPRING, MD — Looking for ways to stay toasty with friends this holiday season? Swing by downtown Silver Spring on Nov. 27 and Dec. 11. Between 5 and 8 p.m., the shopping district will host two s'mores-making events at Veterans Plaza. Each station reservation accommodates a party of six and costs $5. All proceeds will go to Manna Food Center, a food bank based in Silver Spring. The reservation is for a 15-minute s'mores-roasting experience, but guests can stick around for downtown Silver Spring's photo scavenger hunt.
