If you've been looking to add a four-legged ball of love and affection to your family, start with these shelters in the Plymouth area for a pet to adopt. Over 6 million pets and other companion animals are surrendered or taken in each year by rescue organizations nationwide, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
