Information via New London Police NEW LONDON, CT — The New London Police Department is once again participating in the DEA National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 30, 2022. From 10am-2pm, anyone can swing into the parking lot of the PD, drop off any unwanted drugs and drive away. No questions asked, no paperwork to be completed, just a smile and a thank you from us! That's it! Two officers will be stationed in our parking lot, 5 Gov. Winthrop Blvd., for you to drive up and drop off. Again, drive up, drop off, and go. Oh yeah, a smile and thank you from us too! We also have a deposit bin in our lobby. Our lobby deposit bin is available 24/7/365 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year). No liquids or needles please! If there are names on any medications, no need to worry. All contents will be disposed of in a proper manner to prevent that info from getting out. Please share with family and friends. Thank you.
