MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown Police have issued a silver alert for missing 16-year-old Asiana Edens, who officers described as a "habitual runaway." Edens, a Black woman who is roughly 5'8" and 260 pounds, was last seen on Tuesday at around 4:30 p.m. wearing black shorts and a black puffy jacket, police said. She has red hair and wears brown glasses. Police said Edens is a habitual runaway who frequents downtown Middletown, Hartford, Meriden and Manchester. She has previously gone missing in July 2021 and November 2021. The complainant has no information to suggest she is in any specific danger, officers said.
