MANCHESTER, CT — Police in Manchester are looking for a 40-year-old man who went missing Saturday. A Silver Alert was issued for Tyrone Smith Wednesday. Police said Smith is "cognitively delayed, schizophrenic, and displays high functioning autism." He is 5-foot-6, bald and had brown eyes, according to the Silver Alert. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with "California" lettering, black jeans and no shoes. Smith left his wallet and cell phone at his residence when he left, police said. Smith is known to frequent Hartford and New Britain and often travels via the CTfastrak system, police said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can call police at 860-645-5500.
