OPINION...In response to the lawsuit against the 24 units for Senior Housing next door to the Council on Aging. Dear Editor, "Not in My Backyard!" NIMBY The 3,000 Seniors in Medfield were finally getting low income housing next to the Council on Aging. An ideal location for Seniors to get meals, exercise and various classes all "next door". The contractor was all set to go. Then at the last minute the plaintiffs of Copperwood Road and Bishop Lane including a lawyer/Medfield Selectman are suing the Town of Medfield to stop the project! "Not in My Backyard" I feel, is the underlying reason for these 9 plaintiffs. Read the lawsuit for these frivolous objections. Eve Potts, Green Street Medfield Senior Citizen
