L & S Tire Company is a full-service tire recycling company with two Washington State locations. L & S Tire Company was established in 1999 in Spokane, Washington and in 2001, our operation expanded westward, and we established our Tacoma, Washington facility. The concept is to remove as many scrap tires as we can from the waste stream and to create and market recycled alternatives. We service all of Washington State, as well as Northern Idaho and have the capacity and equipment to process in excess of 3,500,000 tires per year. L & S Tire Company is one of the largest tire recycling companies in the State. What to expect: Monday through Friday - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm plus overtime if needed Hand-sorting tire waste from incoming trucks, trailers and customers. Inspecting tires for defects Lifting and moving tires Loading and unloading trailers Keeping plant clean and organized Immediately report all unsafe situations and equipment malfunctions to the Site Manager Requirements: Good physical health – able to lift up to 50 pounds, an average of 25 pounds, throughout the workday No physical restrictions No educational requirements No experience required but relevant experience is note Able to show up to work on time everyday Ambitious, active, and hard-working Willing to work occasional Saturdays Working outdoors Benefits: Get to exercise daily Get to work outside Repetitive work 4 free used tires once a year (available after 90 days) Paid Holidays (after 90 days) Sick time accrued from your first day (available for use after 90 days) Paid Vacation (after 1 year) To apply, please come down to the office located at 9215 39th Ave SW, Lakewood or email your resume. Enter through the gate/speed bump and keep to the right. Follow the driveway through the semi-trailers and come into the office
