GROTON, CT — Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries following a Wednesday night crash between a motor vehicle and a scooter, The Day reported. The crash occurred at 7:04 p.m. at Poquonnock Road and Rainville Avenue. The two people on the scooter injured were taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, then transported via Life Star to Yale-New Haven Hospital. The driver was not injured, and police are investigating the incident, according to The Day.
