Volunteer at the Maritime Festival! The Maritime Festival is a great way for community organizations to provide an added hand for a well-loved Juneau event. This event is completely volunteer run with the support of the Juneau Economic Development Council and festival sponsors. Ways that you or your organization can help make the festival a great event! Day of Setup & Tear Down 8AM-Noon: Morning shift to help set up booths, direct vendors, transport equipment & then stay to enjoy the event. 4:30-7:30: Evening shift tear down tents, break down stage, transport equipment. Assist with Festival Oversight Noon - 5:00: Answer questions and direct festival attendees Assist with activity support Fillet ContestTug-o-WarKids Activities Assist in the Seaside Sipping Event (TAPS Certified) Noon-5:00 PM: Pour beer samples and chat with attendees about Alaska's incredible and diverse brewing scene.
