BEVERLY, MA — Two days of art, music, information and authentic food to raise money for Ukrainian citizens amid the Russian invasion will be held on April 20 and April 21 at Endicott College.
The Art for Ukraine event will include an art sale, silent auction, educational panels as well as music, authentic Ukrainian food and interactive activities provided by students and organizations around campus.
The School of Visual and Performing Arts and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Task Force will host the free event that is open to all North Shore residents.
"We wanted to do something positive in response to this incredibly horrific event," said School of Visual and Performing Arts Dean Mark Towner. "What we have to offer here at the School of Visual and Performing Arts is creative items that can help generate money to help the people of Ukraine.
"It's a huge team effort now."
The event will be held in the Carol Grillo Gallery of Endicott College's Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts on April 20 from noon to 2 p.m. and April 21 from noon to 2 p.m.
