HERNDON, VA — Herndon High School and Herndon United Methodist Church have teamed up for a food packing event 9 a.m.-12, on Saturday. The goal of the event is to pack more than 20,000 meals in three hours as part of the Rise Against Hunger initiative. All are welcome to help pack food at Herndon High School, which is located at 700 Bennett Street. Information is available online for those wishing to sign up for a shift or to make a donation.
