NOTTINGHAM, MD — Smoke drew firefighters to a building in the Nottingham area Tuesday, according to officials.
Crews called to the 4900 block of Mercantile Road around 11:45 a.m. for a report of fire inside a building found a "significant amount of smoke within a storage area" of the business, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported.
An electric motor on a piece of machinery was determined to be the source of the smoke, officials said. It did not spread.
The address of the fire listed by the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company corresponds to Roebuck Printing, which is a manufacturing facility for printing catalogs, tabloids and special interest magazines.
