ARLINGTON, VA — The Cherrydale Farmers Market is kicking off its 2022 season on Saturday, April 16 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The farmers market is located at 4100 Vacation Lane in Arlington, in the courtyard on the southeast side of Dorothy Hamm Middle School. In its second year, the 2022 market will run through the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November.
New to the market this year is Chestnut Hill Farm, which offers fruits and vegetables, tree fruits, and meat. Other new vendors are Innerloop Coffee and Great Valley Farm, which sells jellies and jams, sauces and salsas, relishes, chutney, and butters.
Returning vendors include Barajas Produce, Linda Vista Farm and Sharrah Orchards, which will offer fruits and vegetables. Cold Country Salmon, Harmony Hill Farm and Hog Haven return with fish, beef, pork and breakfast sandwiches.
Baguette Republic brings a full assortment of French breads and pastries. Ana sells Ecuadoran soups, juices and empanadas with either a flaky baked crust or a crispy fried corn crust (gluten free). Chia Catering returns with its Turkish delights.
Faerie Spring Farm offers goat cheese and Family of Nuts sells freshly roasted nuts.
