Press release from the Kennebec Intra-District Schools Regional School Unit 2: April 11, 2022 SUMMARY: Ed Tech II: To assist professional educators with the instruction of assigned students in order to support them to become more independent in their educational programs. Ed Tech III: To provide one-to-one or small group instruction for up to fifteen [15] students which would be directed at supporting a student to become more independent, behaviorally or academically in a school and/or community setting. Direct instructional services might range from the developing of basic daily living skills to the support of behavioral and/or academic skills. START DATE: Immediately EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE [Ed Tech II; Ed Tech III]: ED TECH II: Two [2] years of post-secondary education or a combination equivalent to 60 hours of approved study in an educationally-related field; or for vocational education, two [2] years of paid applied employment within the field of assignment. Educational Technician II Authorization (022), NCLB Requirement (028) and CHRC Approval Certificate SALARY: $15.73/hour [step 0-1] - $22.82/hour [step 17] based on experience in an Ed Tech II or III position or a teacher position. ED TECH III: Must have 90 hours of approved college credits; Educational Technician III Authorization (023), NCLB Requirement (028) and CHRC Approval Certificate SALARY: Pay range: $16.93/hour (step 0-1) - $24.55/hour (step 17); Based on Ed Tech III position and/or Teacher position experience.
