Description
GREENWICH, CT — Two dog bite incidents were reported in Greenwich last week, according to police. On Jan. 23, a group of people were playing in a backyard on Fox Hollow Lane when a neighbor's dog climbed the home's fence and bit a young adult in the back of the leg, police said.
Lt. John Slusarz said the bite was "minor" and left puncture marks in the young adult's leg. A description of the dog was not available.
Earlier that day, a high school student walking along Widgeon Way was bitten by a dog that was outside in a yard, Slusarz said.
"He thought that the dog was going to come and play," Slusarz said, "but he got nipped."
Slusarz said the bite was minor and also left puncture marks. The dog was described as a mix of brown, black and white-colored, however Slusarz was unable to say the type or size of the dog.
