WEST CHESTER —To help celebrate the coming of summer, the West Chester Business Improvement District is organizing an event called "Fête de la Musique" on Tuesday, June 21 with a rain date of Thursday, June 23. This event started in the streets of Paris in the 1980s and has grown into a worldwide event with over 1,000 cities across the globe participating. The goal is to feature musicians of all stripes and sizes from beginners to professional players. The West Chester Business Improvement District is looking for musicians interested in playing on street corners throughout Downtown West Chester sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. If you are interested in performing on June 21st, email Rebecca Schmidt at [email protected] to sign up.
