Press release from the City of Kirkwood: April 12, 2022 Applications are now available for the 2022 Kirkwood Firefighters Community Outreach Scholarship. Kirkwood Firefighters Community Outreach is a nonprofit organization funded by donations and fundraising efforts of the employees of the Kirkwood Fire Department. These funds support the community we serve beyond the emergency calls for which we respond daily. As such, Kirkwood Firefighters Community Outreach is proud to offer an annual scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to two high school seniors who are residents of the City of Kirkwood or Oakland. The scholarship is to be used for higher education at an accredited college, university, or technical trade school. Dependents, children, and grandchildren of Kirkwood Fire employees and retirees are ineligible. For more information please email [email protected].
