Homeowners in St. Louis Park can take advantage of the city's rainwater rewards program, which offers funding and guidance to those who install projects that do one of the following four services: Capture pollutants in rainwater runoff Increase the watershed's ability to store water Restore native wildlife communities Protect groundwater qualityExamples of this include rain gardens, tree plantings, rain barrels, permeable pavement, and green roofsThe program provides cost-sharing benefits, guidance with management practices and planning, and help with choosing designers and contractors. The program is available to residential properties in St. Louis Park. Applications are accepted year-round while funding remains.
