Press release from College of Lake County: James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts (JLC) As seen on "America's Got Talent" and based at The Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center, the ethereal Hiplet Ballerinas features dancers of all shapes, sizes and colors. This soulful, spirited ensemble combines hip hop, Latin, African and other urban dance styles with classical ballet and traditional pointe technique in a performance of innovative technique and incredible power. They perform on Sunday, April 24 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $12-$35. Grammy™ awarded and Emmy nominated, Eileen Ivers is the rare artist whose boldly imaginative virtuosity on the Irish fiddle has altered the musical landscape. In this special Mother's Day show, this innovator and pioneer of Celtic and world music shares the stage with her talented ensemble in an afternoon of storytelling and uplifting music, guaranteed to ignite the human spirit. Eileen performs on Sunday, May 8 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $15-$40. Individual and group tickets are available for both events.
