AURORA, IL — For local fans of Fitz and the Tantrums, seeing them in concert won't be out of your league this summer. The Los Angeles-based hitmakers, along with singer-songwriter Andy Grammar, are bringing their "Wrong Party Tour" to Aurora's RiverEdge Park this summer.
The artists, both multi-platinum, are known for their energizing music — Fitz and the Tantrum is even known for one such song called "HandClap." They'll be bringing that energy to the banks of the Fox River August 12.
The Aurora concert will be the pair's only Chicago-area tour stop.
Regular tickets, all general admission, will cost $35, while VIP tickets range in price from $125 to $199. They'll go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
One dollar from each ticket will be donated to Diversify the Stage, a social impact organization that supports underrepresented groups looking to break into the live entertainment industry at RiverEdge Park, organizers said.
Gates for the concert at RiverEdge Park will open at 5 p.m., and the show is set to start at 7 p.m.
