Midstates Precast Products, a local company, producing concrete underground construction products and concrete retaining walls needs a part time delivery driver for lighter delivery jobs. Hours are 7:00AM to 1:00PM, Monday thru Friday, and available for weekends.
This person will deliver short loads of finished goods to job sites, deliver production supplies to production staff, and perform finished goods returned from job sites.
Responsibilities consist of:
Secure loads safely and per IODT regulations to the trailer.
Ensure the trailer is functional and safe to use.
Keep the Company vehicle clean inside and out.
Deliver materials to job sites in a safe manner.
Return all documents to the dispatcher.
Pick up supplies at various vendors and delivers to production. Ensures proper paperwork is done.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skill Sets required
Must have a valid Class C driver’s license.
Must have good knowledge of the local street and highway system.
Must be able to secure trailer loads safely and correctly.
Must have a phone.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and motor vehicle search.
