A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION LABORER In this general laborer position, you're never bored because you always get to perform a wide variety of tasks. With other crew members, you diligently work to complete projects in a safe and efficient manner. Some of the tools you operate include drills, forklifts, skid loaders, and more. To help things run smoothly, you maintain job sites by storing materials properly, removing equipment when it's not in use, and securing the site at the end of each day. You also perform other manual labor tasks as needed. Increasing your abilities and being an important part of the crew brings you great fulfillment! QUALIFICATIONS At least 1 year of experience in construction Valid driver's license Physical ability to perform the necessary functions of the job, including heavy lifting Willingness to undergo a drug screening upon hire An understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and the ability to read blueprints are preferred qualifications.
