Mira Needs a New Home

Description

Mira is a sweet 3-year-old pure-bred lab who needs a fur-ever home. She has had a hard past, which causes some separation anxiety and a few other quirks, but overall she is an easy-going, sweet, cuddly dog. She needs a home where she can have a fenced yard, no other small pets in the home (she has a high-prey instinct), and lots of patience as she warms up. Great with kids of all ages. Great with guests and company. She would love to have another dog buddy in the home, but she doesn't get along with every dog, so an only dog house is an option. She is best with female dogs who are about her same size. Would be best in a home with home-bodies who like to stay in. She is a cuddler who likes to curl up by your feet (or sometimes in your lap). She is not the best on the leash and can be unpredictable with walks, so a large yard for exercise would be best. She likes to play fetch and tug-of-war or just chew on a toy/treat. Her current foster family is planning to move and need to rehome her by the end of May. Looking for the right fit family so screening process will take some time, but rehoming fee can be covered for the right home. The foster family has another dog (female lab mix) and 4 children (3-10) who adore her, but she will not do well in their new home location. If interested please respond with the following: Name: # of household members (ages): # of pets in home (age, sex, and breed): Yard is fenced: Yes/No Size of yard: Hours away from home each week: What experience do you have as a dog owner? Have you had any dogs with separation anxiety/past tramuas?
