GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Avenue, Tod's Point and other landmarks throughout Greenwich are about to be immortalized in a popular board game. The affluent Fairfield County town will become the site of a customized version of the iconic "Monopoly" game in a new edition created by Top Trumps USA, Inc., which is licensing the game from owners Hasbro, writes Greenwich Free Press. Additional changes to the game also are in store, such as Metro-North Railroad replacing the game's longstanding B&O Railroad, reports WFSB-TV. The Greenwich version of the game is expected to debut later this year in time for the holiday season, but residents still have time to make suggestions on other landmarks to include. Send ideas to [email protected] or use the hashtag #GreenwichMonopoly on social media sites. Read the Greenwich Free Press story; or to read the WFSB-TV story, click here.
