Well this might seem odd for posting, but I have had such an outpouring of support that I wanted to let you know that I did wrangle together a band. At least for now. Great players and great people. Our first gig is on August 22nd 9:00 to 12:00 at Murphy's Law in Pawtucket. The next is May 1st. Send me an email if you want to be added to a list ☺️. I never would have expected such support from a Craigslist posting!! Sang for years professionally in Santa Barbara gigs, La Jolla, San Francisco, San Diego...lots of standards with kind of Diana Krall-ish, Sade, Ella, some Bonnie Raitt vocals. I also taught world music so have percussion; taught vocals with a solo performance at the end for the students, many weddings and private events for some of the California elite. And a smidge keyboard and songwriting. Also, I've been a professional choreographer for many years and still very much involved in the dance world.
